Mission Critical Productions
Mission Critical Productions is a video production company founded by Emmy-winning producer Andrew Glazer, making documentaries about the dramatic changes going on in the world right now. I developed the site from scratch: a cinematic, HUD-inflected interface built around the work itself.
The globe
An interactive Three.js globe that plots the productions by real coordinate, letting you move around the world and pick up a film by where it was shot. Rendered as an instrument readout rather than a map — graticule, tick ring, coordinate labels — so it belongs to the same visual language as the rest of the site.
Custom slider
A bespoke slider cycling the featured documentaries with their stills, synopses and viewing links. Built from scratch rather than pulled from a library, so its motion, timing and keyboard behaviour match the design instead of fighting it.
