Pocket Country
The website of the rock band Pocket Country. It is called Black Ship, and it is also a game. It is a 3D scene that runs in the browser with Three.js; the models were made in Blender. The site opens with an intro screen, and the game starts when the visitor presses Start. I made the whole project on my own in 2021.
The game
The game works like Guitar Hero: notes come towards the player, who has to hit them at the right time. Every correct hit raises the speed of the car, shown on a speed indicator. Small figures of the band members sit inside the car.
Reaching 140
The goal is to reach a speed of 140 before the end of the tunnel. If the player gets there, the car destroys the raccoon waiting at the end. If not, the raccoon hits the car with its paw, the car goes off the bridge, and the player starts again.
Built for the browser
The 3D models were made in Blender. The car, the tunnel, the bridge, the raccoon and the band figures are rendered in the browser with Three.js.
